I went on Saturday July 24th and found it to be extremely 'clicky' and scenester orientated in the same way that 'bbutterfly' and 'funtimes2009' experienced it. I went on my own as my FB was ill and just as well because she would have enjoyed it less than me.
Admittedly, it was a 'meet and greet night' but some of the attendees were downright rude and didn't even acknowledge you when you introduced yourself to them.
As with most of these parties, the single guys outnumbered the couples who seemed to all know each other except for one couple who were open and friendly to everyone, which was the highlight of the night really, unless you think one guy wanking to porn on his own is a turn on.
There were two single ladies but they high-tailed it pretty soon after arriving, after realising that they were the only single girls there. The music being played was fairly abysmal and as pointed out in previous reviews, the seating arrangements are not very conducive to a 'meet & greet' style night.
On the up side the guys behind the bar were friendly and entertaining and the facilities are pretty good overall, except for the lack of toilets and the dodge seating arrangements.
I doubt I will go back to this venue either with or without my FB.

Our venue is not a house party, it is more like a small bar / club with extra's. Our venue is the only swingers club in Melbourne with private rooms (14), and a fully licensed bar.
Attunga's venue is part of an official agreement with the Victorian Health Department, and follows strict guide lines set by this agreement for health, safety, and hygiene.

We went 12th June , it was our first adult club, the set up was really good the hosts a couple of camp guys were funny and entertaining all night and the bar was a good center of operations. Trouble is we went on a couples and some single guys .
The single guys were ever present hovering around and frankly very clingy incase there was the slightest opportunity they could see or get some.
The couple were great folk friendly chatty but if you made a move towards the rooms the single guys followed .
One couple seemed to want that so Im sure it was great for them the rest of the couples didnt like nor want it , you couldnt chat someone start a little with your partner and see who and how other couples responded because the single guys would stand so close tugging themselves we were worried they would cum on us most went away if you told them but it killed the moment and shut the door on couples making an open room scenario .
We will go back it was very sexual and we would just make sure couples only night , to the attunga people well done but be tougher on single hang ons . whilst the economics probably demand the numbers made up of single guys however another 6 couples and the guys who didnt seem to drink much either would be replaced by swingers couples .

hmmm, bit ordinary. Small crowds and that's ok if you like that though for me not much choice to play with on the nights I've been. Crowd tends to stick to themselves. Smells, hmmm, yes stinky being mens club the toilet facilities leave a lot to be desired for the females. Probably won't be back again, ordinary nights.

One was a meet n greet, one was a couples night, and one was a gb night.
I like the facilities, if somewhat compact, but have enjoyed myself everytime I have been! Only gripe, is having the obviously male toilets, shared with females, as no others are available, being a gay mens club. Some times the smell in toilets is a bit wiffy! Apart from that, can't complain.
Michael and his friend who run the bar, are very friendly too.

bbutterflyyThis like a few other venues is a professional venue, during the day this is a gay men's spa so obviously the transition to swingers is quite easy and it's a perfect venue: spa, sauna, steam room, bondage room, private rooms, open rooms, glory holes, booths, licensed bar you get the point, there is plenty of rooms and great amenities.
However when we went and also other people have said the same thing it is a very 'clicky' venue, as in everyone knows everyone, plays with only certain people, socialise only with certain people and don't socialise with anyone else. This is further accentuated by the fact the socialising area is poorly laid out with all the seating being miles apart from each other so people can't really socialise you help break the nerves.
On the night we went there was easily 15-20 couples (30-40 people) however of that only about 5/6 played and of that 4 were from a clicky group and met each other played and left together.
So overall GREAT venue, but clicky people.
(P.S. In case anyone was worried about being a gay men's venue on the night its "couples and single woman only", there is no gay men, they are shut out for the night and everyone who enters is screened)

Attunga (that's 2 T's) hosts 4 types of parties. Meet & Greet, Open Bi nights, Couples only and another heavy duty no-nosense night. We have attended the first three and always have a blast. Being bi curious we try to go to those nights. The venue in Elsternwick is very nice and clean with Steam Room, Sauna, Hot Tub and both Public and Private areas.
