Howdy.

I’m having trouble getting my head around a debate I’m having with a Male play friend.

Which do you all think is more risky to catch an STI or worse from?

Public Play, where you’ve chatted online or in Gay/Bi forums and then met in a public place for some fun. Anal sex is covered sex, but oral, including taking a load orally is bare…..or

Gay/Bi Sauna venues? Where at least hygiene is taken care of with available showers, sex sex and play is genuinely displayed everywhere, and the clientele are paid customers and not after free-be fun. As above, anal sex is covered, but oral fun is bare.(You can tell which one I prefer lol).

Thank you for your input, feel free to leave an opinion and/or contact me privately to discuss further.

Personally I’d say both are identical and run the same risks of infection, in both scenarios you’ll be engaging with various people some whom you are complete strangers, so the risk of STI is heightened even with a hygienic environment, the only exception would be if you have to provide a detailed STI screening before play.

Only safe play is covered play.
