 How long yas staying down there 

We were stood down and came home yesterday.  It was a 5 day deployment

This fire season is certainly keeping me busy, going out again tomorrow.

That will make about 15 days and three nights.

 It deftly as not been a great season, in less is better. But totally glad members are safe that we know off. :)

And with the temps, having been so warm again this week down there. The red days, seem to back. Stay safe.. :)

Most of us don't do "safe" that well and are often at big risk but we do try hard for "undamaged" . I will try to stay undamaged.

hehe at least we don't have a shirt like the Bomb squad, if you see me running, KEEP UP .

Hey Rose another firefighter from this site,just filling in a little time chatting before of to Bendoc tomorrow. A shout out to all the other firies if you having trouble sleeping or flinch at the sound of a chopper etc just go and talk to your fire service and they can get help for you. Any civilians in the fire ravaged areas the same help is available from your council.

typical.  One week we burn, next week we drown.  Soo much flash flooding in the Gosford area

Have returned from Bendoc very successful trip put the fire out. Well arrived there just as it started raining!. So that should be just about it for the Eastern seaboard. Now hoping Western Vic, SA and western Nsw can stay safe. WA as well but thinking I wouldnt end up there anyway.
