Now that my wife is back in action....can someone HONESTLY tell me if Dendy in Thomastown is indeed a safe place to take the missus?
And aren't there other cinemas in Melbourne for a bit of adventure?
Thanks.

The only Dendy is in the CBD , Thomastown is Club X and is safe to go to for couples and evn been reports of single women there recently , its one of the largest cinemas in Melb , other cinemas around Melb are in club X shops inc Coburg , Preston , Bayswater , Dandenong Melbcpl01
Cost is about $15 at the shop counter. I find Thomastown pretty grubby, it's a converted warehouse, noisy, cols in winter stinking hot in summer. The Dendy is more like a real cineam and you can move between the two.
Dandenong is the largest so there's plenty of room to move about in.
Some of the other Club X cinemas like Bayswater are really small so if you have some unpleasant people there then they're hard to avoid.
Have you guys thought of the swingers venues like Shed 16 and BayCity?

Thomastown now has A/C and heating when needed and is far cleaner than the Dendy in Melbourne ever will be without the retirement home feel the Dendy has , must check out Dandy over the holidays see what its like Melbcpl01
Quote by sexmusiclife do you havee to pay to get in the cinema? and is the entrance in the shop?
What?? Who ever heard of a free cinema??? One of the more bizarre questions I've seen on here. Thanks for the help! P.S your the reason why single men get bad raps with couples so thankyou for that.

LOL - I'm pretty sure that nobody has ever written "points out bizarre questions" under the list of "negative things about single men according to couples". Love to hear about the free cinemas though - love a good flick, especially if it's free. LOL
Quote by andyg Ever thought they might offer free entry to females or couples to get them in the door?
Some people are just to narrow minded or inexperienced to know that I think andyg. I undecided yet if to go to WGP or go to thomastown club x tomorrow night I've never encounted a couple or fem there but do admit it is a nice set up there more relaxed then the city deny. Any one thinking to have a play tomorrow night the 8th?

We're talking about adult cinemas here, not licensed sex on premises places, swingers clubs or nightclubs. The only benefit a cinema gets from having more people in it would obviously be from the extra ticket sales. Happy to be proven wrong with an example though

Any one thinking to have a play tomorrow night the 8th? In my experience I've seen and met a few couples at adult cinemas, played with guys there as well both here and overseas but you must know that since you're making the judgement call? But please, give me the benefit of your experience and let me know of the cinemas that provide free entry because as I said, I love a good film (porn or otherwise) and everything's better when it's free.

We have been to Thomastown and Dandenong. Mrs here is nervous about playing in cinemas but was very comfortable there. We will be back in early Jan to play there again. Cheers
If sexmad wants to choose one, I will bring the other.
Perhaps we can make popcorn chains in the festive spirit? Then we can wear them around and eat them off each other...
