From what I see not only has dogging declined but so has outdoor sex: having walked the dog along adelaide beaches for 7 years the number of encounters in late evening has gone from 20 per week to around 2 per week. Got to agree with this post. I am from Sydney, and having lived in an area where there were many many "lover lanes/dogging spots" the number of participants has dwindled significantly since the mid 80's. I found that the increase in anti social activities by groups of men in hotted up cars etc etc has caused many many previously active spots to be almost dead. Most now close early and some are totally gone altogether.
Also the change in demographics of society ( a lot more asians) has seen a decline in car sex .

Tempe Reserve was once a haven for couples in cars having sex.
