we are after some info on the clubs in SE QLD.
Male half is going to be staying on the gold coast soon (on thursday and friday nights) and i will be flying up and joining him on saturday morning for a few days.
so we are after info on which club is best to check out? ones that allow single males and then ones that are couples only.
we have only ever been to diversionz when we have been in QLD and after a bad experience last time we were there, we thought it best to try other clubs to see.

Without a doubt Chateau Vino on the Gold Coast is our choice. We have visited the Brisbane clubs and now just go to CV. D&K

The only other place we know of and have been to is Mikes Place at springwood (5min drive from diversionz). It wasnt to bad, Saturday nights is couple and single lady nights. We havent been to chateau as yet but have heard some great reviews. The night we went to diversionz was a club night, (other clubs use the venue as well), it wasn't too bad either. What made it a bad experience for you both if you don't mind us asking.
just a member of the staff were a bit rude toward us. we thought maybe they were having a bad day but when we asked others that spoke to her, we found out that she was just rude to us and it went on for the whole night.
nothing major, it just made us feel a little unwelcome and made us think that we might as well try other places.
thanks for the info BrisbaneCpl, we might check it out. its the christmas party so hopefully it will be good.
we also now have another friend joining us for the weekend but he is one of those "single males" lol, so not sure if he will be allowed to come along with us.
we will call them and see what they say.
do the christmas parties usually get too crowded? we have been to one before (not in Australia) and found it was very cliquey and hard to join in so to speak.
Chateau Vino is the place to go. Great hosts who make you feel welcome and ensure a safe, friendly environment.
As always, initiative is needed to get the fun rolling and the venue very much encourages that.
Would recommend for couples or singles, everyone feels welcome.
