I have been on here for some time now, and funny enough never actually met anybody, the ones that do are interstate, chatted to many, yearned to meet but to no avail, so is it just me, or is this pretty common?

We realise that as a single male you are up against it a bit, given that you have heaps of competition. However, we have no trouble meeting and playing with couples and occasionally single males or females. Simple fact is we could have numerous single males every night and still never run out of candidates, but when we do require the services a single male we normally find them in the local chat room (Melbourne room). It is often a question of how long would it take you to get here as we like being somewhat spontaneous. Hope that helps and good luck on your search.
Keep your eye out in the Forums under Lets Meet Up for meet & greets. That's the best way to meet others in a great social environment. Also join in the chat rooms and chat to others. Nothing like letting your personality shine through to make others want to meet you.

yes ,,absolutely they do ,,,I meet different folk ,new to me or those I have met before on an almost weekly basis ,,,,
some will want to meet quickly ,,others will want to take some time and get to know you first ,,,,,but without exception ,,no one will meet you if they are not aware of you ,,,get yourself off to meetngreets ,,,go into chat ,,,

if by enviroment you mean wife/partener then that puts you into a category thats less wanted. dont get me wrong it doesnt mean people dont want to meet with you but theres a lot less on here who do.
another thing be honest to people your going to meet with. weve met with some who lied straight up to us so they have no chance to meet again.
Well, I'm up front about having a partner, as it shows on my profile, however time is usually the concern, like most bi people its hidden and discreet, and I understand that may put many couples off, although I can be as straight as they come, however that then raises the question about bi couples which also seen to be shy
totaly agree with you, lots of my friends are bi, they tell me they feel they get shunned by both the straight and the gay community because they dont fit into either side. not that they feel ashamed of being bi just they feel they dont fit in like you said more shy.
being a bi male fits in with more couples than you think. a few women ive spoken to get off watching hubby with another man.

weve had some great excuses. from the kids are in hospital(3 weeks running) to mrs wants to watch tv . hhhmmm i just give up on those ones One of the most common excuses we have found from other couples is my wife is overseas but i can still met you lol wish we had a dollar for every time we have had that line used lol
We don't meet a heap of people, but we've never yet had any excuses.
Every couple we've met has been genuine. No bullshit. No fakes. No time wasters.
Can't complain really.

If you want to meet people you'll simply have to find time to get to parties and meet and greets, otherwise it's gunna be a long haul. The chances of being asked to meet via electronic/Internet means are pretty slim on this or any other similar site, in person though the chances of further meetings will be exponentially improved. As for the chat, I find that very difficult myself, difficult to get a meaningful conversation going amid so much room hello/goodbye stuff between so many different people that I've never seen before and don't yet know, but it is often suggested as a good way to connect with others on SH and eventually, possibly meet in person. Keep at it Charlir, persistence and patience is key.
ok, I've had some great excuses too. Favourtie was the one about his flatmate blocking him in with his car and not being able to leave the flat. OK
Also had the 'wife is in hospital but I can come around'. Although it turned out she actually was in hospital, she broke her foot the day before our meet.
