Eyes Open Or Closed?

A friends guy said something to her recently and I'd like to know how other people feel about this topic.
He made a general comment that she doesn't look into his eyes enough and wanted to know if she really cared about him.
He said she doesn't look at him while they are making love.
I thought about it and I don't open my eyes very frequently while having intercourse or while I'm being pleasured. Neither does my friend.
She told him that she's just enjoying it so much that her eyes just stay closed in pleasure. He wants her to look at him more and she has been, but it seems it pulls her out of the reverie that she's in, so they don't stay open long.
How does everyone else feel about this... men and women both... do you like opening your eyes alot while kissing and during foreplay and sex?

its a tricky thing but i love it when a girl looks me directly in the eyes during sex...doesnt have to be constant but its a huge turnon....which is probably why lots of guys love girls to look at them when their giving us a bj smile

yes i agree its a tricky one , but yes eyes open to take in the scene of what is happening around you but at the sametime depending on what is happening to you at the same time can be a real turn on as well, and yes eyes closed when your really into the mind numbing sensations of the moment , so its back to the begining eyes open for some and eyes closed as you get lost in that moment
