ok guys and gals.... And anyone inbetween or not Is doing a little research for admin here... :) Have a look at the forum threads, and what they are called.... Now what i would like is suggestions, for each thread as to what they get called. ie general Discussion - could be lets chat give me yours ideas for what you would like to see or not see... When i get enough replies to this, Then i will run up a poll.... And lets see....what comes through.. the ball is in the members.. court.. go for it. :)
There seems to be a lot of overlap (as far as posts go) between "Let's meet up", the "Flirt" forums and "Dogging". I think "Let's meet up" should be renamed to something like "Social events". Maybe merge the flirt forums and dogging into one "Playtime" forum?
For our part, we think there has to be a "General Discussion" one. It aint broke, so why fix it...and the name is simple & easily understood.
We also agree that there is a certain overlap in a couple of the meeting up oriented forum threads.
"New & Nervous" is essentially the same as "Introduce yourself", and could perhaps be dual purpose as in Intro's as well as where new residents can come to ask questions...and more experienced members can both eyeball them (fresh meat...hahaha) and also answer their questions.
Maybe add a "jokes" one, so all the word quizzes & un-sexual/swinging related stuff has somewhere to go so it doesn't just bog down the actual threads that people wanna look at & respond to.

another thought I had about the stories section is to have member's stories to be linked somehow - so you can read other posts and also have something in the mailbox so you can sort out your emails by members
There is a lot of overlap with the lets meet up, dogging and flirt forum threads now. Posts used to be moved to the correct forums a lot more.
Dogging for dogging related posts including dogging meets, non club/commercial private and social meets in lets meet up and all the flirty posts, sexual type posts in the flirt forums. So there is a distinction between them it just hasnt been easily seen for a while. No offence to the current mods but yeah the forums used to be a lot neater. There's my ocd side coming out ;)
I agree with AJ when they said that new and nervous and introduce yourself should be merged, and also I think Fresh Meat would be a great forum title for that
I'm not sure if we need a jokes thread, general discussion covers all topics including jokes and it's done well in doing that.
Perhaps we can change the gay flirt forum to a more user friendly name for all the LBGT community? I dont know if thats too politcally correct but I find that people are making more of a distinction between identities and just saying gay kinda leaves out a lot of people.
a whingers/complaints forum would be awesome and good for a laugh, it would also keep those kind of posts in the one spot instead of being peppered everywhere like they are now.
I was thinking a news thread could work, the content contained would be note worthy events in the swinging world (Lotus lounge closing), Stories of the worlds greatest new toy you bought, or laws and current events relating to swingers clubs etc.

Furthermore, seeing as we are compiling a wish list, can we get a greater focus on getting the Groups working.
