Warming the Bed

I read the forums often and it is great that we are given the opportunity to put our views forward and to comment on threads that are already open. This is an adult site and as such I would hope that we are all mature enough to read and accept each others views, but I see threads being closed down because the Mods think that things have gone to far. In some, there has been no abuse and I think that as adults we should all be able to express our opinions whether they agree with a thread or not. If people are not abusive, then there doesn't appear to be a legitimate reason for closing the thread down just because our views differ from the Original Poster. These are just my thoughts and I appreciate that I am able to express them. Fargo.

Sometimes when the thread has gone on a totally different subject and the original post has lost all meaning a thread will be closed. They are usually those in the meet up forums which go off on tangents and the OP no longer has a meet up post but some kind of rambling essay. Sometimes abuse has been removed and the thread has been closed because people keep posting abuse regardless. So that can be confusing when you read it after its been closed and theres really no reason that you can see for it to be closed. But sometimes (I know I have done this before) there is an overreaction and a thread is a closed when there was no reason to do so.
