Hello playpals, I'm looking to buy an Hitachi Wand for personal play and potentially group fun - it appears to be the industrial strength, heavy duty vibrator of choice. I am having a whale of a time buying an authentic one either in Australia or overseas. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? And is it as good as described?

they are as good as described, however there are alternate options available. there is the Australian made "BLUSH" which has more speed settings and is cordless and now there are ones with smaller heads and completely waterproof, yet apparently the same power output. I suggest you visit your local "Club X" adult store as they normally have some display models for comparison

we bought one off ebay a year or so ago, switch broke pretty quickly but was still usable, now it will just stop randomly which is not very good in the middle of play, we have the plug in 240volt option and while we have a few different toys it is definitely the weapon of choice. will be buying a new one soon, I like the plug in option cause batteries really suck, hope that helps,

My next toy would be the Lelo smart wand, have had a 240 v body wand before and switch broke first use. Have experienced the Lelo wand and was awesome, also comes with warranty and a 10yr pro rata guarantee. Well worth looking into. Mrs W67

We have 3 Hitachi's, 2 corded and the new rechargeable one (WOW) and the Lelo. Hitachi rechargeable is the best and we power them (US plug) with a power transformer from JCAR US plug. The 2nd Hitachi is still in the box as it was sent in error for the rechargeable one. First one has been with us for around 20 years. The Lelo slows down when pressed hard or tipped upside down :-( There are plenty of copies around, that have AUS plugs.
