We have read info on red scalfs on entrance of van/tent and am going to try it (can't hurt)
But we do like the switch symbol of 4 way arrows crossing over (see public photo).
We are going to put it on rear of van! Only people that know the symbol will understand
Its worth a try to be happy, have fun and enjoy the adventure !
If us holiday/travellers have some sort of ID what ever it is we should have more fun and take them down if not required!
Happy times ,what does everybody think? We need positive ideas

just a thought---how about putting a "swing" on the side or back ?

you would then need an accompanying "no single men" sticker for them to ignore....

now I'm completely creeped out. We had a massive pampas grass collection in the front yard when I was a little kid. With a white rockery
*shudder*

I met an older couple once in Port Macquarie after they contacted me through an an online ad, they were traveling the country in a caravan and they were telling me that there's an upside down blue triangle on the back of a van is common sign with the grey nomads for slightly more than borrowing a cup of sugar.
Very interesting topic. We brought a caravan about eight months ago and have done a few trips and stayed at a few places and it is always on your mind as you look around at your fellow caravanning neighbours, could they be. Stickers and flags etc on the back of the caravan is a great idea but the chance of seeing one would be pretty slim I would the back of our tool box we are going to have a discrete removable symbol and see how it goes. Should add that we have started up a group for NSW Caravanning Swingers For people that might be close to you or you might want to catch up as your passing through. Should be interesting to see how this group goes.
hi tunsoffun42 , we enjoy caravanning and camping ,we are also in the central coast area ,how do we find / join your group ? thanks "us"
Looks like you found us, only_us, and the group is growing growing and growing
I manage a caravan park in SA and would love to have a group stay for a weekend, maybe participate. I'll be on lookout for them stickers! Need more happy campers
red rag is not good idea unless u want man in uniform ( highway patrol ) or been shopping at bunnings its tied on back to indicate
extended loads.
I found this Bumper Sticker I < 3 > 1 means I love more than 1 :-)
We'll be camping the South coast alot over the next few years. We'll make sure the flag is out.. and single straight guys are welcome to visit. you can look after the mrs while I watch the camp fire.. ?
Always meet interesting people when travelling and things tend to happen when on holidays but how to be discreet and still attract attention that's the thing. A sticker may not be such a good idea, when you sell the vehicle new owners might not know what it means hehe. When comfortably parked up at the caravan park a strategically placed pair of red knickers would get most people's attention. Say hello and you will soon know.
Alternatively people may think that you are a Trump supporter down under...
