For those of you that came along to the meet & greet at Bar 362 on Saturday night THANK YOU for making it such a success.
I'd be interested to hear everyone's feedback so we can make improvements and take the list back to the venue. As they are new management they are interested in hearing what others have to say.
I did hear about the difference in prices for drinks so I have that on my list.

Hi G & G how are you ? As you know it was my first m & g. I didn't know what to expect> I was nervous as right up until you came and said hi : ) you made me feel welcome and that really helped a lot so thank you x
As for the venue...
the drink prices were a little odd mine changed every time but the drinks got stronger : p
the air con probably could of been adjusted a little but now I'm being picky
All in All .... I had a great night... I met you ;) how can I top that ?
I did have a great night I met some great people.
Cant wait for the next one too come along

oh & as far as drink prices go i was happy, at soundwave it was $11 for a can of stinking white jim beam :lol: But cheaper drinks are always good :wink:
we thought it was a great set up .. the temp could have been a little better and a little more even throughout the venue ... and of course cheaper prices at the bar always helps... $5 for a bottle of water was a bit much.. they arent normally that high are they But all in all it was a great night.
Most places charge around $5 for a bottle of water, but they did have jugs of ice water on the bar for free.

Once again another sucksexful evening great venue great hosts .
But was wondering if maybe a cover charge would help subsidise some cheaper drink a lot I spoke to would pay to get in . Hey just thought I know we would be willing to easy pay up to say 50 couple to walk in if drink could be cheaper but as I said just a thought .
As for the venue maybe just less strobe lights in back room and maybe replace with a soft mood lighting so people can see and chat a bit easier to each other . And the back room got little stuffy but hey you can't have every thing lol
Over all guys excellent venue excellent host and fantastic s guests made this another great Meet & Greet

On drink prices ..... I paid upto $12 a can of Jim prolly a tad steep but I guess they have to pay the staff.
The Aircon could have been a bit more even around the venue.
The strobe lighting in the back area was very annoying.
Last of all the music could have been a little more age appropriate not speaking for everyone else but Techno isn't my thing.

we just sat in corner but people came up and talked it was good but as you know tracey could not get around but was great

was a brilliant night organised by a couple of brilliant people and attended by some awesome people.
this was my first m&g and i am already hanging out for the next ,,,,thanks g&g for all your effort .
i think as it was new management they themselves may not have known what to expect either and i think will be learnin some lessons of their own too,,
if another was to held at the same venue , which i would have no problem with , perhaps if the management prepared better by having ready adequate change for drinks sales , plenty of drinks ( i believe they ran out of both vodka and bourban).
perhaps less security (we are not exactly a violent bunch) though i understand security numbers may be dictated by attendant numbers and legislation, this would result in less staff to pay and hence lower drinks prices leading to increased sales :lol: , as previously suggested , perhaps a small cover charge ,,,maybe $10 a head will also help to hold drinks pricin down ,,,,also consistant pricing would go along way too.
the music was ok if a little loud for me personally (slighty deaf) but not really much you can do about that ,,folks love to dance and dancing means loud music ,,but maybe slighter better lighting (not quite so dim) in the rear room and less of the fancy lighting back there too ,,it is after all a meet and greet where lots of chatting and conversation is the general idea.
i do feel though i am whinging about nothing ,,,the venue was clean and neat (my feet didn't stick to the floor unlike many pubs and clubs i have been to) all staff on hand were friendly (funny that eh :lol: ) and thats all that really matters . so overall and finally a good venue for a great night i would not hesitate to go there again. even without any improvements ,,it's the folks who go who make the night , not the venue as such.

being our first we were very nervous about the whole thing and didn't know what to expect, but we ended up having a blast!!
the only downside that we can think of was the dj playing shit music!
we tried to request music but he didn't have anything descent
once the guy from behind the bar got up on the decks the music got a lot better!!
other then that, the whole cover charge idea is good, maybe $10 per person.
Met some really great ppl on the night and made some really good friends out of it.
Will you guys be organising another meet and greet anytime soon!!
We can't wait for the next one!!!

We have been to almost every M&G over the past 3 years, and this venue is easily the best one.
It's central and easy to get to, plenty of parking nearby. Plenty of accomodation nearby. We get the whole venue to ourselves now, so no worrying about whether the people you're talking to are not part of the group. The drinks are no more expensive than most places. So all in all, it's perfect for our meets.
