Who Knows....Why does anybody on here do any of the 1001 strange, weird, odd, funny, disgusting, erotic, teasing, amusing, kinky, exciting and just plain boring things on cam.
Anybody doing the above on cam will get plenty of whispers while those sitting quietly in the room saying nothing will only invite whispers from the optimistic M's looking for the Unicorn.
Those sitting in the dark or having their face hidden probably just want the attention without been recognised, all part of the amusing aspect of been a swinger without actually doing anything.
Disclaimer: yes.... I know there are people who do actually meet up and play but for reasons of discretion, do not show their face and some show their face but don't meet up or play, the above comment refers to those in the "Twilight Zone".
if you are going to sit in front of a black cam, why bother? They get reoprted and shut down. Some may not know their cam is dark. When I have the key, they get a notice to lighten up their cam so they can be seen, and if they don't, then their cam gets shut down.
Part of the rules of camming is to show that you are on there. If you can't be seen, then you should not have your cam on
And don't ever ask them to lighten their cam from in the room, or you'll be busted for directing.. LOL or be told that it is their privelidge to decide to lighten their cam if they want to, and you should be grateful they are showing their darkened room to you..
bob , it wouldnt be from a mod as its against site rules to not be seen on cam
if camers are in dark tell a mod and they will rectify it
but telling them to put light on , you are right , that would be considered directing .
Unfortunately, most low-cost cams require lots of light to display anything near a clear image. Coupled with that, many people don't realise that there is usually a focus ring on the front of even the cheapest cams.
Logitec (arguably the best brand out there) produce 1080i resolution USB cams with auto focus, and a tolerance for low light levels for as little as $50.
my cam cost me less than $25 and I have never been asked to turn on a light.
Asking someone to lighten their cam is directing, however, saying "Haidee, your cam is black" is not directing, only letting the cammer know they are on a dark cam. It also alerts the mod (who may not be watching that particular cam) that there may be a problem

also remember what might seem dark, doesn't always mean its that same dark on another.
Rose, one more reason for letting someone know that their cam is dark. If others in the room pipe up and say they can't see it either, then the problem is with the cammer, if everyone else says it looks fine, then the problem wouldbe with me. I only mention is cams are completely black, or I can't see anything except an outline
Yes! Why sit in the dark with your cam on? Why? I've seen cams for sale for $11. No excuse - oh my cam is broken so it is so dark. Buy a new one then.
And why not show your face? I don't care what the body looks like. Until I see her face I will not meet. Lot of prawns out there. So have some guts and show your face on cam with lighting! Don't bullshit about female security or anything like that.
I do not watch a cam no matter what if I can't see her face.
I wish moderators would toss people out for poor cam quality.
