Its just a word but gets my blood boiling when directed to my wife. We have enjoyed a couple of cam sessions together and like the idea of being watched and 99% of comments are totally fine and respectful.. However a couple of times the word slut has been directed to my wife.. and for the record I hate it and ask guys to please maintain respect. Say anything you want to but please don't use that word when referring to my wife!
Does anyone have any thoughts on this, like am I taking it to seriously, is it the nature of a sexual site, I guess some ppl may even find it a turn on?

Just adding my 2 cents. I love it. We own it, as in being a slut is something to proud of. When I first mentioned it to her she was a little reticent, but when I explained that I loved naughty girls she quickly became proud of the term. And when she thought about how much she loved strangers cocks, she realised how appropriate it was. I don't see it as a term of denigration, I rather see it as a compliment and something to be desired.
But maybe that's just me.

I don't like the term personally, but it's often used as a "term of endearment" on these sites and others.
If you and/or your wife don't like it - don't accept it.
Don't accept anything that makes either of you uncomfortable.

I guess it will always have some sort of negative connotation to us, as it was always a very derogatory term when we were growing up. Having said that, I have been called that by other males, sometimes in a negative way, other times in a naughty, flirty way. Mr doesn't mind as long as I'm comfortable with it. If I wasn't, one of us would be blocking the guys using it. Don't feel you have to change to fit in... if it makes you or your wife feel uneasy, stand your ground and hit that block button! You can't feel horny and sexy if you're also feeling upset or angry.

As a woman I do not like being called a slut or a c**t at all.
I find it is very disrespectful to me and other women. using other words to convey a sexy image is far better.

If all negative connotations are removed from the word, a 'slut' is simply a person, most often a woman, who has had sex with multiple partners. Unfortunately we slam down women who dress promiscuously, are sexually aggressive and/or unabashedly lay claim to their own sexuality.
Some of us embrace the word slut. Some don't. Can calling a woman a 'Prude' be just as terrible as calling her a 'Slut'?
Not drawing attention away from the word 'Slut' but being called a 'Prude' also creates another demoralising pejorative that is meant to make a woman think about her behaviour. Damned if you do, damn if you don't! Some single guys have called Mrs Bay a 'prude' for not showing enough skin on cam.
There shouldn't be derogatory terms to describe women's sexual behaviour and reclaiming the word 'Slut' is almost like willingly accepting blame for a crime you didn't commit, or rather for doing something that shouldn't be a crime in the first place.
Mrs Bay is sexually aggressive (perhaps it is the red hair) and is unbashful/unashamed about her sexual promiscuity, being called a 'Slut' has no negative connotation but rather a right of passage. Although she is accepting of the term, I am of the opinion that there is a time and place, but more importantly how it is delivered i.e. I am not kosher with single males or people who we do not know calling Mrs Bay a 'Slut'.

As soon as someone uses the 'C' word in any context we shut them down on here and if used at a party or venue we just walk away. Slut is pretty bad too but slutty not so ...... Don't know why.

Not a word I accept, in any way, shape or form, neither is c**t. There are many other words that can be used. Personally, as soon as someone uses either of these words, I freeze, tell them to get off and I leave. I make it VERY clear to any partner I have, that using derogatory, humiliating or debasing words just turns me right off and I won't stand for it.
For me, sex and intimacy are about respect and friendship. cannot respect anyone who calls me names.

This is a topic I cover and love it. You are bringing your belief into the word. My wife called me a slut but she wasnt being nice. But by definition I am. So if the hat fits wear it. I personally don't use it unless requested to do so. You might just have to ignore the comments and be gay (happy) that you are attracting an audience that enjoys the show.

gurudave, people have different definitions of which words are appropriate to use or not. I have been called a dirty little slut when I was on cam - and all anyone could see was my feet in heels. To me, how is that slutlike?
Because someone's behaviour - to your eyes - is deserving of words like that, to them, it may not be.
Slut has more than one definition, the older term meaning a slovenly or untidy woman, the newer term meaning someone who has multiple sexual partners.

We all think because this site is a sex site most of us would not object to the word, but there are a lot of sexy people out there that have no need to use the term or have that term used to describe them and therefore take offence. I personally dont use it as it sounds to me more of a put down than anything and thats not what this is about. Lets face it most people that use it want to bring you down to their level as a test or confirm their superiority over you as a possible conquest.

We could use "hedonist" or "libertine" as gender neutral and baggage free/ sex positive words which show a healthy and lustful approach to sex, sexuality and sexual activity.

If I am in the middle of wild, rough, uninhibited sex and I call the woman I am with a slut, I don't think she will mind all that much and some may even get off on it.
But if i call a woman a slut just because we are having a disagreement, then that is not the same thing and will not be met with such a welcoming response.
Slut in asexual context is fine with me. If it's just meant as an insult then that's going to far. It's a word that has many meanings. Just choice your moments wisely when using the word.
I personally love the word in a sexual context, and I often say it if I hit my thumb or bump my knee. But I would be pretty dirty on myself saying it to a woman if it was just an insult.

True, but each woman is different and from personal experience I would say that the word isn't a problem at all when used during sex, or in a sexual nature. You are free to have you own opinion about it, but I stand by what I said about it all coming down to how and when the word is used. If you don't like the word at all then nothing I say will change that :) If a woman says to a man she wants to suck his cock, does cock mean the same thing if she later calls him a cock during an argument ?

Josh, do you see the contradiction in your own statement? You say each woman is different, but the word isn't a problem? Well if each woman is different then clearly it will be an issue for some. So Haidee's suggestion is very wise - suss out the lady you are with before you throw it out there. I know if someone called Mrs TT a slut, the only thing stopping me from booting his arse out the door would be that she had already done it.
