Thinking that his partner might be terribly hurt if she knew, that's a complete mood killer.

FWIW I think that swinging (as well as sex, obviously) is about communication. I've never been with someone who's married whose partner wasn't there, except for one time with a woman who was separated. My misgivings were confirmed when I was asked to duck into the house through the garage... it made an evening that until then had been lighthearted and fun, suddenly become tawdry and uncomfortable.
I agree with TemptedTwo and Mr and Mrs TwoNewbies. They should have the conversation and get their house in order.

Good to see some people take a stand on the moral issue, where would we be if we didn't have a moral standing. Personally we don't have any sympathy for married guys who complain about this site or us for having an opinion. Our policy is that we do not play with married guys. There are so many single guys on this site why would we bother inviting a married guy to join us.

yes i have morals. i dont cheat on my partener so i dont hurt her. swinging is consensual and both side of the marrage know about it. cheating in my eyes is wrong as somebody gets hurt by it. ask yourself one question, do you feel guilty after you cheat??

Same applies for married women I've found. Have had three experiences (not related to SH site) with deceitful married women, one fessed up over the initial drink meet but only after being caught out in the discussion, one came clean after we had been together a few times. It was an absolute turn off for me for the same three reasons that TemptedTwo has outlined, just from a different perspective. It's not irrecoverable though i.e. if they sorted that shit out then I'm in, as everyone makes mistakes from time to time, it's how you deal with the mistakes that matters most.

i agree there tex. covers both sexes if you going to do it be open, honest and say hey im married before you start anything, it gives the other people a choice. mark has it in his profile that his wife doesnt know so people can chose.
