Due to the fact that we are unable to make it to the Melbourne meet & greet because of work commitments we thought we`d throw out an expression of interest for a similar type of gathering in the Geelong area (maybe a club or hotel). If anyone likes the sound of this please respond and we`ll see what we can organise....

I know what it is like with work killing off time you have to meet people in Geelong. If you get something together , maybe mid week night. drop me a note please
Love to hear of anyones suggestions but i`m leaning towards the Max hotel maybe in May, thanks to everyone for their responses it`s been quite surprising so we would definately like to go forward with this idea so please feel free to make any suggestions as i said previously. The Max has the best reputation for catering for the the alternative life styles, eg: they have a gay night once a month, so that say`s to me they don`t get idiots or judgemental people frequenting their establishment.
I would be interested in this so keep me posted.
MAX sounds good by me, or the sporting globe??
BTW anyone beed to 'The Wrong Crowd' in Moorabool street?? not sure if this suites but hear that they have bulesque dancing there some saturday nights??
I am away the first weekend in May, so hopefully it won't be then.
Where's The Max? I don't go clubbing so not up on the new names of pubs.
The Weird Crowd is pretty loud. Small place with loud music.
We know it`s short notice but we`re going to the bended elbow at about 10pm on good friday, and usually spend most of our tme in the beer garden. Once again sorry for the short notice but hope to put some names to faces
Let us know when it is too. Even though we're not from down that way we don't mind going for a drive to meet great people and catch up.
We'll have a drink for you at the Melb meet and greet. You'll be missed.
Cheers,
Good & Greedy.
At the risk of sounding bossy here is one proposal (suggestion only!)..........
It's a 'meet and greet' so really doesn't matter where we meet does it? The venue doesn't [u:4eba470e87]have[/u:4eba470e87] to be lifestyle friendly.
Friday May 11th at 8pm. The Grovedale has a quiet piano bar which could accommodate a group of people meeting.
What are others suggestions?
The Max has music happening on Friday nights so could be a bit loud to actually speak to people.
If this is to happen we need to make it happen.
I would be up for the 11th of May if it goes ahead. The other option is whether anyone is able to 'Host' a meet and Greet?? I have been to one in teh past and it was very informal and casual and was a really relaxed atmosphere Sorry I can't host  quote="Tayla"]At the risk of sounding bossy here is one proposal (suggestion only!)..........
