We are 52 and worse bit we are a long way away too,But we were same opinion we would never meet a couple that would show up or even meet but we did it took us 5 months to find them ,but we do have a few couples in Queensland that we intend to meet as soon as its possible to do keep will meet couples.

Dont worry guys it happens alot unfortunatly we have had the same thing happen several times unfortunatly.
We are half way between goldy and brissy say hi next time your on.
It may seem at the time like the worst thing but it isnt .
Far worse is getting there and the other isnt a couple but a cheating guy whos wife mysteriously got sick and cant make it ,
or an extra guy who leaches of a friend/couple for involvement .
We have suffered both these things and the way to give yourself the best chance of avoiding it it chat over a period of time chat to both m and f both ways, generally the girls must chat together and they usually do, let the girls make the arrangements between themselves.
We find this works as girls can tell if it's a guy chatting or not.
Meeting too soon for unattached sex with sense of friendship or adventure would be the most likely cause of backing out .
If we arrange to meet we meet and so should everyone, if you meet the only promise is we will be there and be social and respectful, and thats the only thing we expect from a meet, we then go away discuss the pros and cons and if everyone is happy its an equitable arrangement we go to next step.
