My first idea is to join in an event that is already organised for public - like a trivia night at a local club. That way the guidelines are met, and we just need to set some identification mark for who is attending with a view to meet people from this site - like wear a badge... You can then introduce yourselves or come and sit at our table. It can be very discreet for people - you can just pretend that you're there as a member of the public and have no link to the site :-)
What do people think? Any feedback?
