I was having a meeting early this week and the conversation rarely stayed on work, it went on for a lot longer than was necessary but She did not seem keen to leave. When it came time to finally part ways She shook my hand and held it for what seemed like an extraordinarily long time, and then resumes chatting and then proceeding to shake my hand and again holding it for a long time.
I was very attracted to her, and during my conversation with her my mind had indeed wondered if she maybe into the lifestyle, But how could I tell without potentially ruining the business relationship. It was not until her long handshakes that I thought maybe there is a secret handshake that would be so subtle only those in the know could tell...
I know the above sounds like the start of a penthouse forum article, but it is exactly how it happened.... honest.
So is there anyway you can tell a swinger from the boring normal people in a situation like this? Is there something like a secret handshake?
Well, this reminds me of an episode of friends where the guys ended up with free porn on the cable. After watching it for days on end they were surpised when life didn't start playing out the same way. Given that you could have always just asked if she would like to go out with u and the mrs sometime.

We've often discussed this between us. There doesn't seem to be a definite sign, but sometimes you get the look, and you know that if you wanted it to be, it could be on.
I agree with the comment about asking if she wants to go out with you & your wife some time. The normal life conversions are the fun ones.

ive thought of a necklace or a keychain with the SH emblem on it, or a swing set.
mrs two wears her necklace on cam so people will see it and might see us out.
I was thinking that if we came up with a little private identifier such as a Sticker on the car bumper or back windscreen placed on the bottom right hand side. The sticker could have just a plain colour...like green, or gold. It could even just be a round circle in black so not obvious to the general public, but if i pulled up behind a car on the road with say a black sticker on the back windscreen, it would be huge amounts of excitement and the like to pull up next to the car, wind down my window and say....Hi, i like your sticker. That is the handshake we all have been searching...Next thing you know, we may be in the car park at a local park, and excitement for all.

the sticker idea sound like a good idea. i was thinking green square for couples, pink square for ladies and blue for guys just like this site, only members of this site would understand.
We like the idea of square stickers colour coded to SH profiles too

I was thinking of paper ID Bands at Meet and Greets. Using different colours to easily identify that you are single male, single female or a couple, but additionally you could go one step further and use them to clearly indicate your sexual perference.

The sticker is a great idea and should be promoted. One party place I go to has the armbands but they are rarely used. As for handshakes it used to be the circular novement of the finger on the inside of the palm that indicated you were up for it.
Lot's of great posts and idea here, only when I reread the original post it happened at a business meeting. In this instance I don't think a sticker would be appropriate. I also looked at the the site listed above and thought that was abetter idea only that they could be confused with the gay pride logo and while I all for gay pride it could be counter productive. I think a lapel pin with SH engraved might be the best way in this particular instance. The explanation is ; 'it's stands for Secret handshake '. I did think the invite for a night out was a goody to. Any way feed back appreciated.
