A very VERY long time ago a friend's father had a cassette (remember those?) which had bawdy, adult songs sung by an Australian band. There are only two that I remember; the first was "the dickie di do song" which I much later learned was The Mayor Of Bayswater (the hairs on her dickie di do hung down to her knees).
The second was a funny tale where the last word of each second line (which should have been a rude word) was cut off, giving the timing an off kilter feel, and the next line fitted straight in, ie:
"...while the boys in the horse shed were shovelling (shit)
Sawdust and shavings that lay on the floor
If you like my little story I'll tell you some more."
and
"... and showed me her (cunt)
(spoken) Country songs have been around for many years, here's a little one for you now."

Can anyone tell me the name of the second song, or maybe even the album title? Google isn't helping at all. The cassette was pirated so no details.

Is there any fun to be had at Maslins Beach, or is it strictly "family friendly"?

I have been frequently to Birdie Beach and Samurai Beach in NSW and both have lots of places to sneak away for some private (or not private) time. But Samurai seems to be very open and the carpark is now full of cameras.

Has anyone been to Murrippi Beach near Whyalla, South Oz? I can't see too many reviews or anything. What's it like? What's the "scene", is there a scene? Is is a "nice" beach or full of dirty old men?

Have you tried the pubs?

Cobblers Beach and Obelisk Beach, both on Middle Head. Google Maps will tell you where. Obelisk is known more as a gay beach. Both have "some" discrete areas but few where you're guaranteed invisibility simply because of the area - they're quite small beaches with small areas to access them.

Easter weekend looks alright, likely last chance to visit this year.

Birdie was open this weekend, albeit hot and fewer people than last visit. Unsure about tomorrow (Sunday) due to forecast weather.

Hoping to return to Birdie or Samurai this weekend. Love the beach.

 It's generally accepted that the camping end of Samurai is family friendly and the One Mile Beach end where the big dunes are is a bit more adult. But there can be kids and families there too. Obviously, discretion is the better part of valour.

Birdie was just nice on Sunday. Not too hot, not too blowy. I did get a giggle when I came back to my camp after a swim and walked past a couple, her giving him a BJ while he was tickling her fanny. then she got on for a ride. All this in the open. I tried not to look too hard, I thougt it's be too rude in public. 

4WD or two good legs. It's quite a walk over those dunes.
