Speaking of decorum hopefully they'll get some new chairs in the cinemas like they said they would, they've given great service but they would have to be close to 30 years old now and probably were in a bank before Club X!
Also how long were you with the stripper Simmo_1? I wonder if it was enough time for the red coat couple to have had a lot of fun before they left.

I went to the Club X cinema earlier today for the first time in about a month and when I went to pay the guy at the counter told me fairly firmly that "no alcohol", "no smoking" and "no amyl" were allowed and to also have a look at all the rules around the cinema doors before I went in. There were several, including one that "predatory behaviour is not allowed"!?!
The right side cinema also has 5 chairs broken now as well, just after they re-opened after the renovations I was told that new chairs would be installed soon but nearly a year on the old chairs still are getting used.
Does anyone know what has happened in the past month that has seen things go downhill enough that all these rules have to be enforced? The old cinema existed for many years with virtually no issues.

Thanks for that Mahatos, I haven't been there recently but good to hear that the cinemas are getting better of late, will have to definitely drop one day very soon!
And great stuff as well that the right side is being used for cruising with the left side being left alone, hopefully too more couples will start coming as a result.

I'm a bi male after I have to say that the cinema post renovations has been disappointing. The laid back and chilled atmosphere has been largely replaced by a gay cruise lounge feel with guys checking cinemas back and forth. One afternoon I was there and there were about 10 guys all up and only 3 of us were actually sitting down!
And yep, Sydney desperately needs a cinema type place for guys, girls and couples to have fun without having to worry about these distractions, and there's plenty of gay cruising places around Sydney as it is for us bi/gay guys with Luvstuff (the best one), Signal, the various Pleasure Chest stores and Adult World at Newtown just to name a few.
But the glory holes are a much welcomed and overdue addition!

And speaking of chairs, the left side cinema was also down to 15 seats with a seat having a box attached to it saying "Don't Sit Down Here". Without getting too close it did appear someone left a dark coloured mess there.
After initially having high hopes after the renovations it's been a massive letdown so far. And no way they can justify bumping up the price to $15 for singles and $22 for couples.

Exactly. Club X has always been a relaxed and chilled place for straight people to go to enjoy the porn or couples coming in without the hassles of guys cruising about for male on male action. There has been gay action inside the cinema in the past, but from my experience guys were always pretty discreet about it.
But it does seem that Club X is losing it's point of difference now and is becoming just another Pleasure Chest type store around the CBD.
And being bi, when I do want male on male action I go to Luvstuff in Marrickville.

Yeah, I hear you, I was there again last Saturday and there were a few shuffling constantly between cinemas and hanging around the entrance bit, I sat right up the front in the straight cinema to try and avoid the distraction as much as I could. Also I wouldn't be surprised to see blow jobs getting exchanged on the entrance part before long! And all this as well as couples now having to pay $22 to get in could definitely see even less than the dwindling numbers before the renovations.
I think they shouldn't have had the entrance part at all and just had the doors with a buzzer for each within the shop. If you want to change you'll have to annoy the shop assistant to let you in!

Yeah, I popped in there this arvo as well to take a peek. The gay cinema and the back section look a week or so away still, but when it's all done it's going to be heaps cool!
The shop part too looks completely different and way better and much more modern than how it was.
The straight cinema is still a pretty good size with seating for 16 at the moment, and they've also now got a buzzer that you need to press next to the door to get let in. They're currently using the old chairs but I was told that new ones will be arriving very soon. The screen is much clearer than the old one too and there's kind of a raised step near the front of the screen that could maybe be used by couples to put on a show. There's also a table thing there as well up the front which perhaps could be used for condoms, lube etc.
Up the back also has a switch to adjust the sound level of the porn as well as a switch to dim or brighten the lights.
Plus the prices have increased, they are:
Singles $15
Student/Senior concession $12
Pensioners $10
Couples $22
:D:D
However the cinemas won't be open until Friday!

And I've noticed too on the Club X website that the closing hours for Sydney are now midnight for Monday-Thursday, 1am for Friday-Saturday and 11pm on Sunday.

Yeah, I'm surprised to hear that Club X doesn't have any notices up though they should be re-opening very soon.
Also Luvstuff is a bit of an acquired taste compared to other places however the smallness of the room does make for some hot guy on guy action most of the time. As for the amyl smell I always have the window open when I'm there.

Thanks for the info, very interesting to hear that the cinema could be split into gay and straight cinemas, I think having a smaller and intimate setting could make for some hot action in the gay cinema (Luvstuff in Marrickville has a small gay cinema type room which sees heaps of fun). Though I just hope though that the straight cinema would still be roomy enough for couples to have enough space to put on a hot show.
