OK so after the Melbourne Cup then??

Hi all,

Just wondering about my next trip to Melbourne sometime this year and would like some help on when to go to the most livable city in Australia?

I have been to Melbourne recently during ANZAC Day week (April), mid-July and sometime in August during the AFL season and my last trip in 2016 was during Melbourne Cup week, of which was a blast and am thinking about doing it again.

However, I would like to know from all you good people for when is it a good time to visit Melbourne outside any of the big events that I have named as well as the Grand Prix and Australian Open (Tennis).

I am ruling out all months leading up until June/July and am looking at the second half of 2018 therefore any help, especially from the very attractive Melbourne ladies on here, for this Tasmanian devil will be greatly appreciated.
