Club X in Elizabeth street is nice and local for the footy: has 2 cinemas and some nice recliners, shuts about 3am at the weekend.
Club X in Coverlid place in China Town has 2 cinemas and glory holes.
Further afield but not too far is the west gate park has a good amount of male traffic (and quite a few in the age bracket you like) and the occassional couples, it's a bit of a hike unless you have own transport.

I agree with lonely dad, as long as the temperature was above zero I was out dogging in the UK.
From what I see not only has dogging declined but so has outdoor sex: having walked the dog along adelaide beaches for 7 years the number of encounters in late evening has gone from 20 per week to around 2 per week. I don't know if it's associated with a similar decline in pub goers: the line up outside the pubs have gone from 5 nights per week to a week per month.
Combine that with the number of newcomers who expect any fish to be a catch (do one recalls the 10's or 100's or hours waiting and enticing a nibble) and who's social skills consist of waving their tool in your face or window and you have a serious decline in entertainment and enjoyment.
One characteristic i've never understood is the number of guys who drive from car park to car park and just pass through with high beam on all the cars. Are they like the people i see fishing at night with a high beam to attact all the fish.
maybe it's time for a certificate in dogging :~)

Doggings like fishing: you hear about the catches and the one that got away but not the fact that it requires a lot of patience, enticing and potentially 100's of hours without a nibble.
Part of the problem with this is that some expect to go out and catch a fish within the first 10 mins and that any potential nibble is a guaranteed catch. Dare i say that a lot of the single male doggers also have the same social skills of a lone fisherman.

thre are plenty of dogging videos under killergram and dogging uncovered, which was set up by an old friend of mine in the UK: as stated earlier, they tend to be of a girl taken to a site.
Given your interests you may find some of the public sex ones like berlin public bangers, ficken uberall or public banging ones of interest. for sex on the beach beachhunter is good.

I'm new to Melbourne and somewhat constrained to public transport at present, managed to catch a few good sessions around flinders st station though.
Any pointers to good hunting grounds and places for dogging or places to go when it rains would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone who wants contact me via PM to arrange an exhibition or an 'chance' encounter around the CBD (mon-Thur evenings) either outdoors or at a theatre I'd me very interested.

I think the nearest official one is Bowen (Cape Edgecumbe), it's small and either a paddle/swim or a clamber over rocks to get to though other than that it was only about 100m from the main road/carpark ot the toutrist park, from where it is signposted.
I went there twice for a few hours and didnt see another sole on the beach at all.

Shame: don't let one experience put you off. Not that I was there, but this demonstrates the need for some sort of signalling convention: nothing worse than approaching a couple who are just there to have fun themselves and not with others, or are looking for an excuse for a fight.

So how did this go...
... the only item of interest in the west beach car park between 1 and 2 was the man in a blue uniform in an unmarked car paying an interest in all cars entering.
... the road past the ASC site looked very unaccommodating.
a much better location would be the car park in Largs North...car parks were quiet and the unisex toilets there would accommodate an 8 person event quite comfortably.
