Has been many a great social meet and greet in Brisbane over the years. Thanks to the wonderful people who’ve led the way in organising the meet and greets. Looking forward to seeing attendees of previous events and new faces most welcome.

A social meet and greet is an informal, relaxed and supportive event held in a public venue that’s safe and creates a feeling that all attendees enjoy and benefit from the event. You’ll be glad for attending and looking forward to the next.

Thanks Kerry_1975, that’s a section of the site I don’t use, appreciate your perspective. Extremely concerning for privacy to be breached and for those individuals to lack decency and respect.

I notice it’s been four to five days since a female signed up to the site.

What are we doing wrong? What would entice more genuine females to join and remain active?

As noobs there is quite a lot of info out there about the scene. Some good but alot not so helpful or really that interesting. We've found the OSS podcast quite good with helpful info and they speak with passion and excitement. It's easy to listen to.

There's an untouched section of bushland between Armytage Street and the Esplanade at Lota.

Was there recently jogging and noticed work within the bushland.

Walked in to investigate and found a new bridge being constructed. It provides access to a secluded lookout.

I don't see much of a lookout as there are trees obstructing the view. That's the great thing, lots of bushland, no prying eyes, no neighbours to worry about.

There is a nursing home to the north, but it appears to be an unused corner of their land next door to the bushland.

Now, November 2021, there's no access via the main walkway between the Esplanade and Armytage St.

There is access via an unofficial track other side of gully, closer to the nursing home.

Or if adventurous, walk through the construction site (out of hours of course). Work began early November 2021 and is expected to be complete late January 2022.

More secluded now or more open after completion.

It seems very quiet and whilst I'm single and no one to go dogging with, appears a great location for fun.

Would be great at night.

29 September is a Wednesday this year. Nothing stopping the date being used for fun this year. 

If you're near to Oxenford, why not make a date of it.

Perhaps those seeking hook ups in lockdown areas are anti lockdown types?

The case level didn't go close to what NSW has managed and stayed open. It was quite the over reaction. Masks, tracing and isolating contacts really should have been enough.

I do agree there is higher risk at such a time. Still, could be spread between those in a relationship but apart or in the same house, viruses can be found in unlikely places.

What concerns me is that those who aren't worried about being covid safe, do they have the same cavalier approach to sexual health and hygiene?  That is concerning.

Who do we know on the site who would otherwise not attend that you can talk to and convince to attend? 

It may only take the offer of a lift to/from the venue or simply you accompanying them so they don't feel alone. All easy to do.

We can make this meet great with a little effort from all.

I'm amazed the Saints and Sinners Ball is happening this year. In Melbourne, is that correct?

Dan Andrews and the public health killjoys seem to close down every gathering of people. The over 50 000 capacity for ANZAC Day at the Shrine has been limited to just over 1 000.

With hotel quarantine resuming for the third time, it's only a matter of days before the virus leaks and community transmission sends the Victorian govt into a panic.

John, do you see how many views you've had of this? 

I think many of us have clicked in anticipation of a four day fun festival!

Whilst movement is limited across Brisbane and surrounds, now is a perfect time to suggest the site to anyone you know who has been toying with the idea of 'going online'.

I've been a member since soon after it began and enjoyed every year on the site. I write this from my own personal enthusiasm and support for the site and appreciation for those who operate it.


If you have people you know who are interested or you think would be interested in joining, this is the perfect time. Tell them of the great features of the site, the ease of use and thankfully, a usual lack of non genuine profiles as they're weeded out fairly quick.

Brisbane is also hosting a free meet and greet in May, always worth attending and saying hi in person, which is open to all as member, regardless of being a paid member or yet to decide.

The calm of the Easter break and the largely at home days this week is perfect time to discover this site, open communication with a few people and discover a whole new world of fun.

Another three day "lockdown" of sorts in Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Redland, Logan and Ipswich council areas.

Maximum of two visitors to any household. So you know what that means…

Singles have have a threesome or two couples can be at a house ;-)

Yes, profiles can be reported and members either removed or have such wording deleted, but why are they here in the first place?

It's not the intention of the site for why they're here, they're trying to scam money out of desperate people.

This is not what swinging is about.

It's about having consensual fun in an enjoyable way. Unless you're running a party, it's not a business and even then, many parties are held by those who simply enjoy a great party with like minded adults.

Some may call it swinging, others may consider it 'sex positive', others may simply find this a like minded place for great experiences to get together and others may have their own name but one thing it should never be is a place where those hawking themselves for sex expect a business transaction or any other kind of underhanded 'reward'.

Great to read the thoughts of the recent comments from members. My original comment related to the number of profiles who sign up, look around but then don't return, obviously not finding what they're looking for. Not for profiles which have been left idle by once active members who, as commented, may have genuine reasons for not being on the site.

It was great. Fantastic venue, even better hosts in Mr and Mrs Strips. Come to the next one.
