Hi AndyG,
I won't profess to know every party in Melbourne, however many of the posts I have read on this subject always suggest the best nights to go is when it's Couples only.
The behaviour of some of the single gents when they are allowed in tends to be a little overwhelming for some couples and off putting.
Attunga and Wet on Wellington both boast these sort of events, with of recent a review of Attunga giving me a positive smile they have got it right with Cpls only nights.
There is also the Saints and Sinners Ball - 21 June.. this is without doubt one very unique event being held in a nightclub. The atmosphere is rather sexy, music, drinks, plenty of eye candy plus the opportunity to socialise and more :twisted: if you both like.

As mentioned Saints is always a great night and you can make of it what you will - from mild to as wild as you could think of.
It is worth noting that Saints is generally now held on a Friday, with the next ball on Friday 20th June.
A quick google for 'Saint and Sinners' and you'll find all the info that you need.

Hey Andy you know me , so you know I wouldnt bullshit you . We went to the opening of shed 16 couples night it was fun roomy would make a great first experience , you might like to pre arrange a meet or go with a view to enjoying each other and not playing but seeing and feeling how everything works and go home talk about it and see if thats suitable for you both
We think there currently isnt a venue with the couples only security that makes first times feel safe and relaxed
