Why is it that complete threads are being deleted lately? It's happened twice over the past week. Who decides if a thread gets deleted? Admin, a single Mod, or is it decided by a group of Mods? As we are all supposed to be adults here, I can't see what could possibly be so bad that entire threads need to be wiped to protect our little minds. I thought the forums were supposed to be an area people could say what was on their minds, good or bad. Personally, I find it annoying to follow a thread then have it disappear.
Are these recently updated threads?
I can see how clearing a forum of threads that have been inactive for years would help with clearing site bandwidth and data etc. I've never really read anything here that I thought needed to be deleted though. -shrug-

Looks like it was removed early this morning.
From what I can see G&G made the last post, then gone from the face of the earth.
I have noticed a large number of couples from here all joining another site in the last month or so
Whilst most claim to be open minded some have very small openings lol
The reality is members get a good feel for what goes and what the line is in the sand so keeping threads would serve a more functional purpose than deleting them .
Whilst the mentioned thread was somewhat going off tap vent , nether the less it is an open forum and expressed a view of which no one is obliged to accept in fact you get to reply with a more reasoned and thought out answer if you feel inclined.
It was not a thread I wanted to be associated with due to the fundamental hypocrisies , I would agree with mr 2 that you cant ban someone for name calling by name calling and a number of rules were breached in dealing with the content as pointed out by others .
I dont believe the content was anything other than a look into someones motives and I did see the writer subjected to a few comments which went unchallenged by mods which I believe broke the cameltoes back .
So unless theres a national security reason threads less than a year old should remain for comment thats the point really.
Seems like one person believes they should be jury, judge and executioner. Unless a thread has sunk to a level that most normal people wouldn't stoop to then the discussion should continue.
As usual I'm sure the usual culprit(s) will coast along in sniper mode. Let's all "lol" on that one.

...and once again, a use for the non-existant *like* button

Will I get in trouble if I ask which site? No, but I will for saying and that's a fair rule. We are happy to play by the rules, however as G&G pointed out the rules here are blurred by personal opinion. Such a shame as this place has so many good points. Cheers I fear this thread may be next.
lol Billy. We'll be on the edge of our seats in anticipation.
In other news... I dunno why anyone would "get in trouble" for mentioning other sites. RHP & AMM are mentioned in the forums and in chat all the time. Big deal...
There must be some real insecurities involved on the part of whoever is in charge of the place if they banned people for even the mention of other swinging sites from Australia...and let's face it, most of us are members of all 3 anyway. We are.

Was making the point (tongue in cheek) that the rules are blurred aj . We all know the other sites ;)
