Had a few smart arse answers. 
My mum and dad, got me here.. but that just sounds wrong, if you miss the joke.
Member on a few other sites.... Still a member of those sites.
BUT realised those sites.. wasnt giving me the tickle anymore.

I joined in Sept 2010 and I think it was mainly from boredom .. In the past I had been part of groups etc ... so have always been interested in someway before.
I cannot remember how exactly I found the site but I'm sure it was probably along the lines of a night of surfing for sex sites ;)
I do remember thinking .. wow a free site and an Australian one at that .. so what could I lose.
I did start of with a terrible profile with a half cropped picture and a fairly nondescript blurb ... and lo and behold that did not work at all for me ....
I started getting into chat and came across a few members who gave me some good advice on my profile .. so that was the start of getting to improve to what you see today ...
I then realised and still do to an extent that Sydney siders are lacking on the social aspect .. there was actually no Sydney meet like those I saw from interstate .. so I decided why not try and get one going ... "let's get the single male no one really knows to encourage strangers to get together in the city"
What could have been an epic failure (who else organises a meet at bar that is closed) turned into a great night and the start of some good friendships and a few more meets ....
Then came my advice line and a few other little topics and now I feel like my arse is firmly implanted on a seat here
To be honest despite how challenging it may seem to be a male on here .. I have just found it to be FUN. It continues to be FUN!

havin left aus rather abruptly with my then wife and having then living in relative isolation for the next twelve years ,i was unsure of what reception i would find on my return to aus amongst my old mates and family ,,and so in searching for new freinds and playmates, in whom i would demand no more than simple honesty and in return i would have the same demands placed upon me and no more (am enjoying my new found freedom and reborn singledom) i trialled several sites and stumbled on this one ,,,gave it a go and joined up ,,,,and have not regretted my choice in doing so ,,,i have so far met many excellent new freinds, some i have played with some i have not , and had many a fun and laughter filled night running amuck in the chat rooms with others i have still yet to meet face to face ,,,
so a big thanks to the sh team ,both admin and mods and also the many and varied members, without whom this excellent site would not even exist

Well we joined after talking about swinging...having played with others in our relationship, and discussed actual swinging. Trousers did an internet search for swingers, came across this site, and we have never looked bakc. Have met some great people on here, played with some awesome people and intend to keep it going.

Well both Mrs S and I had been members of another site that I won't name (Initials RHP) ....she just hated it with the trollers......We got recorded on there by some scumbag playing and that was it for her.
I joined SH in 2010 after I saw it mentioned in chat on said other site. It was really basic and only a handful of people a night.
She knows I play on cam sometimes and doesn't mind, other times she sits in the background and watches but won't join in. Once bitten..... I'm not a big chatter but some of the original people here I regard as almost neighbours yet we have never met. Thats my next goal to get to a capital city M&G with Mrs Shamus.

Joined in 2006 with the hope that the site would evolve and give an alternative to the other Majors and help develop a strong local environment that encouraged and nurtured interaction between good honest folk. Have to say it has become a site that perhaps other sites wish they could of become.

We had chatted about threesomes, etc, from time to time, and joined up at another site about ten years ago. Had some great times, met some great people & even ended up organising a few pretty successful drinks nites.
