we thought it was a great set up .. the temp could have been a little better and a little more even throughout the venue ... and of course cheaper prices at the bar always helps... $5 for a bottle of water was a bit much.. they arent normally that high are they 
But all in all it was a great night.

Awesome to hear you might be coming down!
Seeing as we usually have about 200 of us at the bar we'll be taking it over lol. Those "randoms" that might drop in are not vanilla anyway.
As for accomm I know a few other posters from here have staying at places close by so will leave it up to them to make suggestions for you.
Melb ppl - who can give some suggestions for places to stay close by?
